Nature of Internship
Interning at Databank involves real responsibilities and assignments and not simply observing what a full time employee is doing. For any unit you are assigned to, you will work with the entire team of talented and smart employees from whom you will build a wealth of experience. You may also be assigned a specific project in addition to your daily assignments.
Interviews for internship positions generally focus on determining how appropriate any candidate is for the position. In arriving at a decision, our recruiting team looks at your goals, your personal achievements, challenges and skills set.
Candidates will be required to provide the following:
• A letter from their institution confirming that the candidate is enrolled in the institution
• A CV and cover letter
• A copy of their academic records (where applicable).
We offer internships all year round taking into consideration a candidate’s own schedule and our own available opportunities in the course of the year. Typically, we have:
• 12-week summer internship to candidates (June –August)
• 6-month internship (February –July)
• 1-year internship
