A. ArkFund pools funds from its shareholders and invests mainly in fixed-income and equity securities. The fixed-income instruments include Commercial Papers, Bankers Acceptances, Certificates of Deposit and Government debt obligations. The equity investments are shares of companies listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange and other regulated stock markets in Africa. The Fund does not invest in companies which produce alcohol or tobacco, manufacture and sell arms and ammunition, engage in the exploitation of animals and gambling, and whose activities negatively impact the environment.
