A: Your funds will remain invested if you have ever contributed before. Anytime you resume contributing, it will be added to your contribution made so far. However, you will not be able to contribute if your employer is foreign. At retirement (55 and above), you can contact SSNIT for your pension benefits. If you have made the minimum contribution period of 15 years, you qualify for the monthly pension, but if it is less than that, you will be paid a lump sum of what you have contributed so far, along with any accrued interest.
