Q: If you die before 55, how is your pension benefit calculated and what do beneficiaries get?

Print Topic

A: If you die before age 55, you are not entitled to your full pension benefit. However, your beneficiaries will receive the lump sum payment of the contributions made so far. This amount will be credited to your bank account once the calculation is done. It is recommended that you update your beneficiaries with SSNIT every 2 years.
