Joyce Aryee (Chairman)

Rev. Dr. Joyce Rosalind Aryee is the Executive Director of Salt and Light Ministries.  She is also a Management & Communications Consultant.

Dr. Aryee is a former Minister of State in Ghana and also the former Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Chamber of Mines. She draws her experience from over 40 years of service to the nation, dealing with a wide range of issues including environmental protection and public relations. She was awarded Companion of the Order of the Volta, Ghana (CV) by His Excellency the President of the Republic of Ghana in 2006. She is also the recipient of the CIMG Marketing Woman of the year 2007 award and has been named in the list of 100 Global Inspiration Women in Mining in the world.

Dr. Aryee is a graduate of the University of Ghana and also holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Public Administration from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).

Dr. Aryee has served on the ArkFund Board since 2007. She is also a director of the following boards:  Global Media Alliance, Newmont GoldCorp, The Roman Ridge School and the Volta River Authority.

Kojo Addae-Mensah (Executive Director)

Kojo Addae-Mensah is the CEO of the Databank Group.

He is an accomplished banker with over two decades of banking experience. He has worked in Multinational banks like Standard Chartered and Barclays Bank, where he played various roles across Africa. He was also the Chief Operating Officer of GCB Bank before he took up his current role as the Group CEO of Databank, Ghana’s premier and biggest Investment Bank. Outside of work, Kojo is a national TV pundit and hosts various shows on radio from time to time.

Kojo assumed the role of director on the Board in 2014. His directorship also extends to the following boards: Databank Asset Management Services Ltd, Databank Balanced Fund, Databank Brokerage Ltd, Databank Epack Investment Ltd, Databank Financial Services, Databank MFund Ltd and the Databank Foundation.

Kastner

Adelaide Kastner (Non-Executive Director)

Adelaide Kastner is a Senior Lecturer at the Central University.

Prior to her engagement at Central University, she worked as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Ghana Business School from 1996 to 2017, teaching a diversity of courses in marketing. She served the University as a Students’ Academic adviser for many years and was the Head of the Department of Marketing at the Business School from 2004 to 2008. She has also lectured at the Trinity Theological Seminary and served as external examiner to the Department of Marketing at the University of Cape Coast.

Dr. Kastner obtained a Doctorate Degree in International Business from Aalborg University in Denmark in 2003. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (Management) and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (Marketing), both obtained from the University of Ghana, Legon.

Dr. Kastner has been a director on the ArkFund Board since 2007. She also serves on the Council of Ghana Christian University College.

Kwadwo Asante-Abedi (Non-Executive Director)

Kwadwo Asante-Abedi is an IT Consultant and the Managing Director of ePareto.

He has also held different positions at Explainer DC Ghana and Capita Financial Group in the UK.

Kwadwo Asante-Abedi holds an MSc in Financial Markets & Derivatives from the London Metropolitan University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accountancy from the London Guildhall University. He is also a Certified Agile Development Practitioner (DSDM) and a Certified Project Manager.

He joined the ArkFund Board in 2017. Mr. Asante- Abedi is also a director on the following boards: Capability Consult Ltd, Databank Balanced Fund Ltd, ePareto Ltd, Simnet Ltd, Preseim Ltd and Uplife Company Ltd.

Naomi Adjepong (Non-Executive Director)

Naomi Adjepong is the Director of Operations at Alpha Beta Education Centres.

She has 10 years of managerial experience. In addition to her role as Director of Operations at Alpha Beta, she also serves as the Director of the Entrepreneurial Leadership Department. She also co-directs a social enterprise – Emerge Leadership Ghana Ltd – and a centre for personal and professional development for adults – Skill Up Africa.

Naomi Adjepong is a Medical Doctor by profession and has earned a post graduate qualification in Managing Rural Development. She is a Fellow of the fifth class of the Africa Leadership Initiative – West Africa and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.

Naomi Adjepong joined the ArkFund Board in 2018 and serves as a Director on these boards: Alpha Beta Charitable Trust, Emerge Leadership Ghana Limited and Skill Up Africa Challenge.
