This page describes your rights and responsibilities and states the terms and conditions under which you may use the Databank Loyalty Program. Please read this carefully.

These terms and conditions apply to the Databank Loyalty Program. This program allows a participant to earn loyalty points through deposits and other activities.

By participating in the Databank Loyalty Program, you would have been deemed to have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions.

This document describes your rights and responsibilities and states the terms and conditions under which you may use the Databank Loyalty Program. Please read this carefully.
These terms and conditions apply to the Databank Loyalty Program. This program allows a participant to earn loyalty points through deposits and other activities.
By participating in the Databank Loyalty Program, you would have been deemed to have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions

a) Datapoints will be earned based on your activity as a mutual fund shareholder. Points accrued on deposits and other activities for a month will be credited to your Databank Loyalty Program account five days after the last day of the month.
b) Deposits are the main way to earn points under this program. Other point-earning activities include welcome points for registration, birthday anniversaries and referrals.
c) Datapoints shall begin to accumulate upon registration to the program.

a) Without limitation, Databank is not liable to you for any direct or indirect loss, damage or expense arising from your participation in the Databank Loyalty Program, regardless of whether this arose from negligence, and regardless of whether Databank has any control over the circumstances giving rise to the claim or not.
b) Points can be redeemed either as gift vouchers or selected prizes
c)Databank reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion to replace or to withdraw any featured reward item at any time and to substitute any reward item requested for redemption by a customer for a different reward of comparable value to the particular reward requested by the customer.
d) To redeem your points, you need to complete the Redemption Application form. The link to the form is available on the Databank Loyalty Program page on the website.
e) Databank is not responsible or liable for any redemption of your Datapoints balance where the redemption of points was not authorized by you.

a) Points will expire after twelve (12) months of inactivity, i.e., a period during which a participant in the Loyalty Program neither earns nor redeems points. Note, however, that points earned on birthdays do not affect inactivity.
b)Databank will not be obligated to offer an extension on expired points nor offer any cash refunds or other exchanges or compensation whatsoever for expired Datapoints.
c)All points earned under the Databank Loyalty Program are non-transferable from one shareholder to another.

a) All redemptions are final. Databank cannot be held liable or responsible for any redemptions made in error.
b) Redemptions will not be refunded or cannot be cancelled as the points used against the redemption, will not be credited back to the account.
c) Databank reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions from time to time without notice and in its sole discretion at any time by updating this document. Your continued participation in the Databank Loyalty Program after any modifications by Databank shall constitute your acceptance of such modifications.
d) If you do not accept the terms and conditions stated herein, you should immediately unsubscribe from the Databank Loyalty Program.

It is a point-based loyalty program that rewards clients for deposits and other activities with points for which they can redeem for prizes.

All existing clients of mutual funds are eligible to register for the program. People who are not clients but want to register will have to create a mutual fund account and subsequently register for the Loyalty Program.

Registration is free of charge.

You can register by filling a form on the website. You will need to provide your name, email address, account numbers, telephone number, date of birth and postal address. These details must match what was used to register the account. If not, you will be required to complete an Information Update Form.

Registration takes 2-3 days to be confirmed. Clients will receive a mail confirming their registration.

No. Registration is done based on account numbers. Therefore, once you have multiple mutual funds under the same account number, you will receive points for deposits across all mutual funds.

No. During registration, you can enter multiple account numbers only if they match up to the same name. Points will be rewarded for deposits across all the account numbers regardless of the number of mutual funds under each.

You can add them even after you have registered for the loyalty program. You will need to fill a client update form for the loyalty program on the website to add those additional accounts so that you can earn points from them too.

Points are calculated based on the amount you deposit and other activities such as registering for the loyalty program itself, celebrating your birthday and referring a client to register for the program. We may also, at our sole discretion, provide additional points in connection with certain transactions and promotions. The table below shows the value of your deposits in points.

10 Ghana Cedis = 5 Points
50 Ghana Cedis = 25 Points
100 Ghana Cedis = 50 Points
2000 Ghana Cedis = 1000 Points

0.5 Points = 0.005 Cedis
10 Points = 0.10 Cedis
25 Points = 0.25 Cedis

Redemption of points may be done by filling the points redemption form on the website. Once a request is made, it will be verified to ensure that you have the required number of points to make the redemption. A follow up mail or call will be made to facilitate the dispatch and receipt of the prize.

At the end of every month, a report will be sent to you showing how many points you have earned, how many you have redeemed, your points balance as well as the available prizes and the ones which are available at the next level.
