What we do

Databank’s Pensions team offers Fund Management services to the following types of schemes:

  • Master Trust Scheme (MTS): An MTS is sponsored by a Corporate Trustee and is open to employees of several companies. There is an ideal solution for most employers as it is cost effective and run by professionals.
  • Employer Sponsored Scheme (ESS): An ESS is open only to employees of a particular firm, and gives that firm control over asset allocation and access to service providers.
  • Group Personal Scheme (GPS): The GPS, which is sponsored by a Corporate Trustee, is designed for those in the formal and informal sector. The contributions to this scheme are voluntary.

Corporate trustees are looking for a fund manager who can offer competitive returns (rates above inflation and company’s own set benchmark) while taking into consideration the associate risk involved. Competitive returns are backed by in-depth research and expertly managed to avoid unnecessary risk.

The Databank Pensions team strictly adheres to industry regulations and reporting requirements by producing and delivering timely, accurate and transparent reports. The team’s effort in accordance to standards set by the Ghana Accountancy and Finance won them the Most Transparent Fund Manager Award (2017).

  • Assist you to educate your employees on the three-tiered scheme and its benefits
