Keli Gadzekpo (Chairman)

Keli Gadzekpo is an Investment Banker and the Group CEO of Enterprise Group Limited.

He is the co-Founder and Chairman of the Databank Group and has previously served as Executive Vice-Chairman and as Group CEO of Databank.

Keli Gadzekpo is a Mason Fellow from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government where he obtained a Masters in Public Administration. He holds a BSc in Accounting from Brigham Young University in the US and is a qualified CPA from the US where he worked with KPMG Peat Marwick in the Washington DC office and with Steuart Petroleum in several capacities.

Apart from being Board Chairman of Epack since 1998, Keli Gadzekpo is also on several other boards including Bank of Ghana, Databank Asset Management Services Ltd, Databank Financial Services, Ecolodge Company Ghana Ltd, Electricity Company of Ghana, Enterprise Group Ltd, Family Ventures and Offices Ltd, GraceStrategic Ventures and the Mo Ibrahim Foundation.

Kojo Addae-Mensah (Executive Director)

Kojo Addae-Mensah is the CEO of the Databank Group.

He is an accomplished banker with over two decades of banking experience. He has worked in Multinational banks like Standard Chartered and Barclays Bank, where he played various roles across Africa. He was also the Chief Operating Officer of GCB Bank before he took up his current role as the Group CEO of Databank, Ghana’s premier and biggest Investment Bank. Outside of work, Kojo is a national TV pundit and hosts various shows on radio from time to time.

Kojo assumed the role of director on the Board in 2014. His directorship also extends to the following boards: Databank Asset Management Services Ltd, Databank ArkFund Ltd, Databank Balanced Fund, Databank Brokerage Ltd, Databank Financial Services, Databank MFund Ltd and the Databank Foundation.

Adelaide

Adelaide Ahwireng (Non-Executive Director)

Adelaide Ahwireng is a Business Executive.

She has served on the Epack Fund Board since 2006. She also serves as Director on the following boards: Databank Balanced Fund Ltd, Ghana Revenue Authority and the Methodist Bookshop Company Ltd.

Estelle Akofio-Sowah (Non-Executive Director)

Estelle Akofio-Sowah is the current Regional Manager for CSquared West Africa.

She has over 15 years of experience in the internet and business development industry in Ghana, including being the Managing Director of BusyInternet, Africa’s hugely successful internet startup and being the Country Lead for Google’s operations in Ghana.

Estelle majored in Economics and Development Studies at the University of Sussex. Her contributions to the internet sector and commitment to excellence earned her selection as a 2008 Fellow of the African Leadership Initiative.

She currently serves on the Board of Databank, a role which she has held since 2010. She also serves on the boards of Stanbic Bank and Ghana International School.

George Otoo (Non-Executive Director)

George Otoo is an Insurance Executive.

He is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner with over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. He entered the insurance industry in 1981 at Enterprise Insurance Co. Ltd and held various positions in the company until he was appointed General Manager in charge of Operations in 1998. A year later, the board appointed him Managing Director, upon which he assumed full control of the management of the Company.

He spearheaded the founding of Enterprise Life Assurance Company (ELAC) in 2001 and, in 2010, he created a holding company structure at Enterprise to identify and create subsidiaries to provide services across the spectrum (i.e. from cradle to grave). Enterprise Group was listed in 2010 to replace Enterprise Insurance on the Ghana Stock Exchange. He became the Group’s first CEO in 2010. George Otoo retired from Enterprise in 2014 after 33 years of service to the company with a market capitalization of US $130 million from US $1.5 million when he took over at Enterprise Insurance.

George also holds an MBA in Insurance Management from the University of Nottingham Business School, U.K.

He has served as a director of the Epack Investment Fund Board since 1999. He also serves as Board Chairman at Ghana Reinsurance Company Ltd.

Charles Amoako (Non-Executive Director)

Charles Amoako has over 10 years’ working experience in the insurance industry with a strong commitment to policy interpretations, risk and data analysis, and payment solutions. Charles was the Public & Emerging Risk Manager at Enterprise Insurance and has also served as the Head of their Madina branch.

Charles obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Wofford College and an MBA from Coventry University. He also has a Financial Management certificate from the University of Missouri and a Diploma in Insurance from the West African Insurance Institute.

Charles Amoako joined the Epack Board in 2020.
